I could not be happier to be the reigning Miss Colorado High America! This past year has been such a thrill for me getting ready for this pageant and then to hear my name announced as the winner, wow! It's a moment I will never forget!.
Being new to the pageant world, I have already grown so much from the experience as it is so empowering. Currently I am a senior in High School and have had the honor of being on the school cheer team all four years. Cheerleading is a large part of my life. I have also been a member of a competitive league. This year my cheer team took third place in our state competition. This took long hours but was worth every minute. It is my goal to continue cheering in college. I love the teamwork and the competitiveness of the sport. The excitement of stepping on the floor and waiting for the music to begin is what gets my heart racing. And yes, cheerleaders are athletes!
Cheer is not the only thing I participate in in school. I am also a member of
DECA and my school yearbook. After high school I plan on going to college and
majoring in hospitality so I can pursue a career in event planning. My focus will
be large parties and weddings.
In my free time I enjoy snowboarding, wakeboarding, working out, and baking! I
also love hanging out with my friends and family. I have one younger brother and
two dogs who keep our house very busy.
Life has so many amazing journey’s to embark on, I am lucky enough to embark
on this ‘Once in a lifetime Opportunity’ as your 2013 Miss Colorado High. You too
can realize a dream and be the one I crown as Miss Colorado High 2014!
