What do I expect as a contestant?
As a contestant, you will be judged in three categories consisting of Personal Interview, Fun Fashion and Evening Gown. There will also be a fun opening number which you will not be judged on.
Is there swimsuit or a talent competition?
There is no talent or swimsuit competition.

Evening Gown Competition
Each delegate selects her own evening gown. Your choice should reflect your own personality and style. Judging Criteria: Overall appearance, beauty, poise, stage presence, fashion sense and delegate's ability to project comfortable elegance.
Interview Competition :
This will be a 5 minute panel style private interview with the judges. Questions will be based off of the Judge's Biography Form and age relevant topics. Judging Criteria: poise, personality, ability to speak, as well as, overall presentation. The recommended attire is a fashionable business dress that is flattering in style and color to you.
Fun Fashion:
Delegates will model on stage a fun high fashion outfit that shows off their personality. It can be anything that you choose: dress, cocktail, pants, suits, etc.! Feel free to accessorize with hats, jewelry, belts, etc. No jeans, shorts or themes are allowed. Judging Criteria: modeling skills will be judged, how your personality reflects on stage and confidence.
As the new Miss Colorado High School America, do I win a prize package?
The winner of the Miss Colorado High School crown will win the following prize package valued at over $10,000: the official Miss Colorado High School crown, sash and trophy, a college scholarship, her trip to the national Miss High School Pageant including her hotel stay, meals, show tickets and more, official photo shoot , makeup, clothing , jewelry, etc. and an opportunity of a lifetime!

What are the Age Requirements?
You are currently in grades 9th - 12th in a public or private
school or being home schooled.
Do I need pageant experience?
Absolutely not! Many of the contestants have not competed in a pageant before and have won the crown on their first attempt and others have competed more than once. Winning the title is about being yourself and being the best you can be! Anyone can win the crown! We at the Miss Colorado High School Pageant are here for you!
Is there a fee to enter?
Yes there is an entry fee. We encourage you to obtain sponsorships to cover all your pageant expenses so you should not have to pay for any costs out of your personal finances. Sponsors love to help and they receive recognition in the official program book. Your community will be honored to offer support, after all you are representing them in the Miss Colorado High School America Pageant! If you need tips on how to
